Each boss's list is what a raider can stay out of: the RPB sheet's, plus the fire it leaves out (Illidan's Blaze and Demon Fire, Kael'thas's bombs). A hit is one tick of damage. Fire on the ground ticks about once a second while a raider stands in it, and a burn it leaves (Doomfire's) keeps ticking after, so the hits say how long they burned more than how often they stepped in. Damage is what landed, with what an absorb took. What the pull's tanks take by their job is shown apart and counted in no total: a frontal attack, Lady Malande's Reflective Shield while they hold her, and Illidan's Blaze beside the flames they tank. Each boss names them with their hits, damage and deaths, so it can still be kept low. A cleave the raid soaks on purpose (Kaz'rogal's) shows its soakers apart too: whoever took about as many hits as the most-hit raider. Other fire on the ground counts for everyone, and a raider who tanked a pull that night is marked tank. What no one can stay out of altogether (Anetheron's Carrion Swarm, a cone toward a random raider that the raid's stacks keep small) is shown boss by boss, but counted in no total and no death. Every boss pull counts, the wipes too, up to a wipe call. Once a wipe is called the raid is told to run into the fire and die, so what it takes after the call counts nowhere, and each boss says how much. The call is read off the log as the moment the raid stops: when half the raiders still alive have cast for the last time (Divine Intervention, Ice Block, Vanish and the like not counted), or a paladin casts Divine Intervention. The call is put five seconds before that.
