Your officers set the tool up. This is the raider's half: about five minutes, once.
/reload is not enough for an addon it has never seen.vortexraidtool.com/g/<your guild>/. Discord tells the site who you are and what your rank may see. Your wishlist, the roster and the request queues are there; nothing to register.Your own line at the pull. Open the window (/vrt, or the minimap button) on the Assignments tab: the boss you are on, your name highlighted, who interrupts, which mark you stand on, the room picture beside it. Your raid leader sends the sheet to everyone who has the addon before the pull; you paste nothing. Raid and boss buttons at the top jump straight to any fight.
Who in the guild can make it. The Professions tab lists every craft of every profession, who knows it (a green dot when they are online) and what it needs, with how many of each material you have — and, once you have opened the guild bank yourself, how many it holds. Search a recipe, a material or a crafter; tick usable by me to keep to your class. Right-click a row to whisper a crafter or to fill the chat line with an ask — it sends nothing until you press Enter.
| /vrt | open and close the window |
| /vrt who <text> | the Professions tab, searching — /vrt who mongoose |
| /vrt as <name> | on an alt, look up your main's assignments |
| /vrt gear | what it has read off your own character |
| /vrt share on|off | take part in the guild keeping itself up to date (on unless you say otherwise) |
| /vrt log · /vrt comms | what the addon has done, and what it has sent and heard — it never writes in chat |
| /vrt minimap | hide or show the minimap button |
Your wishlist. Rank the drops you want; when one drops, the council sees every claimant's list and standing side by side. Edit it on the site, or in Discord with /wish add, /wish import (a WoWSims or Sixty Upgrades export) and /wish web for a one-hour edit link.
Where you stand. Loot priority is worked out from the guild's own Warcraft Logs — attendance, parses, consumables — and loot debt, with the rules on a page anyone can read. Nothing is typed by an officer, so nothing is argued about.
Requests. Ask the guild bank for your share — marks, hearts, gems — on the site or in Discord, and see who got what, when.
The roster, the recipes, the raid log. Who raids with the guild, who can craft what, every report logged to the guild, newest first.
It cannot. A World of Warcraft addon has no way to reach the internet. What it reads travels over the game's own addon channel to guildmates who run it, and reaches the site only through an officer who runs the uploader on their own PC. It never writes in chat, either.
The Professions tab shows the guild the character you are on is in, and only that guild. Your alt sees its guild's crafters; your main sees yours.
Give it a minute: the guild asks for what it lacks after login and every half hour, and answers are spread out so a raid night does not flood the channel. /vrt comms shows what your client sent. Still nothing? Check /vrt share is on.
Hover the minimap button. The CurseForge app keeps everyone on the newest one.
The help Discord — or your officers, who can reach it. What changed lately is on What's new.
The addon's Professions tab and the guild sync work for any guild with nothing else set up — get it on CurseForge. Everything else needs the tool in your guild's Discord: an officer sets it up in about five minutes, or look at the demo guild first.
