The loot council spreadsheet vs Vortex Raid Tool

Most councils start on a Google Sheet, and for good reason: it is free, everyone can read it, and the formula is exactly what the officers agreed. It breaks in the same places every time — somebody has to type attendance after every raid, parses are copied by hand or not at all, the loot tab drifts from what actually dropped, and when the person who owns the formula quits, nobody dares touch it.
