How it compares
Three honest side-by-sides: what stays the same, what changes, and what the other tool does that Vortex Raid Tool does not. Every guild running Black Temple, Hyjal or Sunwell already has something for this: a loot tracker, a guild manager or a spreadsheet somebody keeps. These pages say what moving would change, including where the tool you have is the better answer.
The short version: Vortex Raid Tool works out loot priority from your guild's own Warcraft Logs (attendance, parses, consumables and loot debt) instead of an officer typing a prio per item. It fills in a whole raid's assignments from your signups (ours or Raid-Helper's), posts them as pull cards in Discord and shows them to each raider in game. After every raid, the night gets a page of its own. Its free addon also gives any guild a Professions tab in game (every craft, who can make it, what it needs), with or without the site. It is built for TBC Anniversary and WoW: Forever rather than every expansion at once.
ThatsMyBIS
The free loot tracker: wishlists, per-item prio, received loot. The difference is where the priority comes from.
wowaudit
The full guild manager: roster audit, events, raid plans, recruitment, a guild site. The difference is breadth against a raid night handled from Discord.
The spreadsheet
Where every council starts. The difference is the typing.
Try it yourself
Every new guild gets 14 days of Pro, no card needed. The bot and a guild site are up in about five minutes.
